My garage this summer. We hit all of the area stores last year
after Christmas.
Our mega-tree light string preparation. Each one has a clear and
multi-color string wrapped and zip-tied around a 12 or 14 gauge THHN wire that
we stretch between two walls. The strings are 50' plus a couple feet to connect
to the rebar stake that will be driven into the ground to secure it tight. Only
the wire is tight since the light strings are zip-tied to it. I'm zipping and my
son Blake is trimming the ties. It takes about 15 minutes per string. It took
three weeks to get all 64 done.... Kinda hard to do it while it was 90+ degrees!
My son Blake found an easier way to prepare strings- Roll along. We plug the strings in, so any problems
can be fixed ahead of time
Our kitten seems very interested in the project!
